Using Shell or ShellExecute to merge 2 pdf files

Does anyone have any code that will allow 2 pdf files to be merged using either Shell or ShellExecute?

I don't think Shell nor ShellExecute have commands or methods to do the merge, can only call a script that does have the merging code, as shown in https://stackoverflow.com/questions/11990671/merging-pdfs-in-multiple-locations-with-pdftk

The merging code is not shown. Search web, many examples. I use VBA.

I expect requires Adobe Acrobat Standard or Pro installed no matter what language is used.
