Hi,
I'm fairly new to access databases and currently using access 2010.
I have a database for storing information on our PDA's.
I have multiple tables for the contacts, software, make, model etc, which is then linked to the asset table.
I then have an asset query as well as a contact query.
I have one form (PDA _FORM) which brings up all the information in the asset query. However, our PDA's are always changing owners so I have a combo box which allows the user to select and save the new owner.
They can also type but it currently allows them to type in a contact which is physical entered in the contacts table/query.
can anyone give me advice on how I can only allow text to be entered but only for a existing contact.
thank you
Lauren
