I created a query for my database to track licenses for my employees. My questions is I want to see on the query/report exactly which licenses are out of date and going to be out of date in the next month. Ideally, I would like to have the out of date licenses show up in red and the going out of date licenses green or another color. How exactly would I do that?

I'm guessing I'm going to have use some VB which unfortunately I'm not very familiar with. All I have done so far is have just the license with expiration dates less than today show up on the report. But I would really like to see ALL licenses and then have the out of date and going out of date show up on the report in different colors.

Thank you!!

Thank you!!!

Now I have one more question. Since I am working with dates in the conditional formatting it does not like when I type in words.

For example, the first condition I want is if the field value is less than the Current Date I want it to be Highlighted and text in red.

The second condition I want is if the field value is between the Current Date and 30 days from Current date.

I enter those expressions in the conditional formatting and it yells at me saying it cannot do the formatting without the proper operand.

I've done this in Excel and had it work, I don't understand why it is not working here???

Thank you very much!!! It works!
