A particularly odd little scenario, and I am almost certain this is a bug.
I have a form, [Financial Information] that contains a subform [chtWeeklySpending] which is displayed as a pivot chart, among other subforms.
Whenever I make any changes to VBA code in the [Financial Information] form, and then close the window, it asks me if I want to save both [Financial Information] and chtWeeklySpending (see pictures attached), Keep in mind, there are other subforms in this form, so it is confusing why chtWeeklySpending is always something to save even if I have made no changes at all.
If I choose to save everything, including chtWeeklySpending, the VBA code changes disappear. If I choose to save everything BUT chtWeeklySpending, the VBA code will remain.
Additionally, if I choose to open chtWeeklySpending in a separate design mode window when [Financial Information] is in design mode, then I cannot even close the chtWeeklySpending form at all. When I choose to close, it asks if I want to save changes, I respond yes, and it stays open.
I honestly think this is a glitch somewhere deep in Access, but I may in fact be missing something. Has anyone ever experienced this?
