Video Rental App. Anyone want to donate one?

Howdy,

I know that lots of people have created the "Video Store" type database that keeps a record of videos and what's checked out and in and who has things and such. I'm looking for something totally unrelated to video but along the same lines of a check in/out system (more like a library).

But so I don't have to recreate the wheel I'm just wondering if anyone knows of anywhere to download a pre-created template that would have the tables and forms and such setup so that I could just go in and modify things to suit what we are looking to do.

if anyone knows of anything like this, please let me know.

Basically what we are looking at is an inventory of computer related items (Laptops, Mice, Power Cords, etc) that are available for checkout but we currently just have a binder that we write everything in and we'd like to computerize it somehow to make it more accurate.

Or if not, if anyone has a website that could walk me through the best way to set something liek this up from scratch, that'd be helpful too.

Access 97 has many built-in templates that you can use for your purposes. From the menu bar, click...

File, new database, click the databases tab and choose one that suits your needs. You can easily modify them to your needs.

The MS Office update site also has some to choose from.
