Hello all,

I'm running into a problem when viewing a PDF in a report.
The report is an A3 page oriented landscape.
The PDF (which is a technical drawing) is 38.85cm by 9.65cm.
However, when I insert it as an object, it only comes through at 29cm wide, and when I resize it, the image quality degrades.

I am running Access2k and the latest Acrobat Reader Pro.

I have also rotated the PDF 90° to see with it was a width restriction but then it only comes in at 29cm in height this time.

I also tried inserting an Acrobat ActiveX control on instead but it doesn't want to show.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Have you tried changing the page set up in Report Design View. It should be in File --> Page SetUp, Click on tab Page and change the orientation to landscape. If necessary, change the Margins too, so that PDf fits into the report. I usually set up margins to 15 on Left & Right, which should be fine for print. Hope this information helps
:)

Yeah, I've tried all sorts of configurations with the page size etc.
I've even opened PowerPoint, inserted the PDF object into that (it comes through at the correct size) and then copied that object into the report and it STILL shrinks.

There must be a 'maximum object size' or something which excludes pictures somewhere in Access perhaps????
