Note for new players.....

One day the help on my new Vista laptop stopped working. It just displayed a message that it couldn't download something or other.

After searching the net, I found this....

http://www.bu.edu/pcsc/desktop/windows/vista/dreamweaver8-vista-help-fix.html

Seems that Dreamweaver changes a registry setting that renders Vista help a No Go.

After downloading and installing the patch, all is well again.

CuteFTP 8 is another that gives trouble. It displays a message each time it closed saying the program was not responding.

This error is acknowledged by GlobalScape, and downloading the the latest version fixes this issue.

As a side note, I put "Windows Vista Compatible" on my Access web site!!

Thanks for that Dave :)

We heavily use Dreamweaver as a code editor and were about to upgrade to Vista over the weekend. *Forgets he sees the link*, guess since there's an issue we should go to the pub saturday instead. Will raise a pint in your honour ;)
