Ok, I need advice.

At the risk of repeating a question that has already been asked (I've searched, but you never know), I'm wondering about using VS.NET (with either an MDB or and MSDE backend) to create my database app instead of using Access. Since I own Access 2k but recently got a new (legal) copy of VS.NET, and I'm starting to create lightweight commercial applications, I'm starting to wonder which is the best choice.

I've heard several people say "Use VB or C# for a professional application, with Crystal Reports - don't use Access since it does too much behind the scenes and you don't have as much control". On the other hand, some people have told me "Use Access, it's faster, easier, etc etc.

I've also heard that VS doesn't have anything similar to Access Subforms, instead people use tabbed forms, 3-paned interfaces and such for data entry.

Who has experience in choosing, and wants to share? :)

Thanks!
