Please, anybody can inform me what can do VSTO and how can we use it with ACCESS. It is true that VBA will be changed in future with this tool? And please give me a link for add-in for access and full documentation or/and tutorials for VSTO.
As far as I know VSTO (Visual Studio Tools for Office) is and addon for Microsoft Visual Studio package, not the Microsoft Office package. VSTO is a free addon to owners of Visual Studio 2005+ which provides a series of tools which permits developers to build applications targeting the 2007 Office system....not just Access itself. It would basically be used to create Office-based solutions using the professional development environment of Visual Studio 2005.
At the moment....you don't have to worry about VBA being attacked by VSTO and changing everything.
Will VBA change in the future though? ..... Most likely.
