Has anyone ever had this happen, and if so, what is the remedy? I have a report that the user needs exported to Excel. One of the report's fields is called WBS and is defined as text. The field contains the following types of values:
1.2
1.2.1
1.2.2
1.2.1.1
1.2.1.2
and so on. The problem is that when the data gets to Excel, any WBS that has 2 decimals (1.2.1, etc.) end up in a wacky state to the effect of 1.38230.28828 and all sorts of variations there of. This does not happen on any of the other WBSs.
Any thoughts?
