I have a Database that I use at work. I work for a valet and parking company, and we need to keep track of our various accounts, On-Site Supervisor, Number of valets, and number of cars we do at each event. I belive I set up my database correctly, I have one table for all employees, another table for locations, and then a sepetate table for for the info for each date at a location call LocCarCountT.
In the "LocCarCountT" I have several feilds:
*Auto Number
**Gets the info from a quarry sorting employeeT
[CarCountID(*)] [LocationID] [CarCountDate] [OnSiteManager(**)] [NumberOfWorkers] [NumberOfCars] [Notes]
I want to be able to have a quarry sort the info by location, and give me the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly totals for all my locations.
Example:
Location: Date: CarCount:
Location A Jan 1 10
Jan 2 15
Jan 3 12
total: 37
Location B Jan 1 30
Jan 2 32
etc......................
I have pretty decent knowledge on access, but not enough to figure this out, due to the fact I taugh myself threw books, here and there how to do it
