I have a very annoying problem with a combo box which I cannot get to display the name of a supplier from the underlying query. It will only display (and retain) the SupplierID - its control source. If I want it to display the Supplier Name it does not hold the information - it has disappeared if I go back to the record after moving to another.
The combo box in question - cboSupplierName has its contents governed by another combo box - cboProductCategory, on the same form - frmOrders - on which there is a requery.
The combo box cboSupplierName has a query -qrySuppliersOrders - as its row source and has a control source of an autonumber field - SupplierID - on a table - tblSuppliers.
All the other combo boxes on this form work fine - it must be something to do with the fact that it is linked to this other combo.
Please help with this as it is driving me up the wall!!
