Hi - this isn't such a serious problem as it only happens every so often and I can sort it out easily. I'm more interested in know if anyone has seen this sort of behaviour before, and what causes it.
I'm making some changes to a database written in Access 97. It is comprised of one main form using a couple of multitabs and quite a number of subforms on the different tabs.
Every so often I'll go into one of the subforms in design view, using double click to open it, make a couple of changes, and save it. Close down whatever's open and open the main form up to test my changes. At this point various parameter requesters pop up.
These requesters are pretty much the child fields of a load of the other subforms used on the main form, and when I check the field parent and child link settings, it contains all of these settings, that somehow it has managed to pick up from the other subforms.
Resolving this is simple enough, but I was wondering if anybody knew the cause or whether it's just an ancient bug not worth dwelling on!
