I'm using Access 2007. In the past, up until about a week ago, if i were to highlight an expression in VBA, or something in the properties box in a design view and then hit F1, the help file would pop up with a topic relevant to what was highlighted. If nothing was highlighted, or no topic on what was highlighted was in the help file then upon hitting F1 it would open the help file in the "home" screen.

Now, regardless whats highlighted or where I'm currently working on, if I press F1, it opens the help file in that same "home" screen. Even if I search the help file for that or any key word, it will return "No results for 'whatever I searched for'". It will say that for anything I put in the search box, even things I know I searched before and got results. I did notice that the "home" screen of the help is slightly redesigned, and now says powered by Bing or something like that.

Is there any way I can get my old help file back? I press F1 about 20 times a day, and now I cant find help for the simplest expressions.

Which service pack are you on for Office 2007?

I have XP service pack 3, but not sure what service pack, if any, for Office. How do I find out. All I know that it was working just fine less than a week ago, and I did no updates to my computer nor did I install any software since, and now it's working as explained.

I do remember the help file in the past possibly being like a web based application, meaning that each search was searching online for the topic, and now it seems as like the "online help file" was just updated/redesigned by microsoft, and missing those topics I usually was searching for. But thats just what it seems like and I dont know if that's really how it works or is the issue here. Any suggestions?
