What is wrong with my IIF Statement??

Hi,
I have this problem with the iif statement
=IIF([Flag])=6,"M6000","M1000")
the problems is on my table I have flag 1 and 6; but when i run a report in some Range of date it recognize the flag =6 and flag=1; but in some ranges of date does not recognize the flag 6; just recognize the flag 1. There are another option to do this report..
