I do not know if anybody has come across this issue, but it confused me for a few hours this morning.
I have a report that I was trying to modify. Every time I replaced a particular field it was changing to another field any time I ran the report saved it.
Now some background. The DB in question was an Access 2003 database that has been converted to Access 2007. Also the tables have been moved to MS-SQL 2008 database.
The report in question data is provided by a query that aliases a particular table several times. I was attempting to use a field in the un-aliased copy of the that table. For some reason it was grabbing the field from one of the aliased copy of the table.
The solution was to alias the particular field name and use that aliased field in the report.
Hopefully this will be useful for someone.
