Nvidia’s CEO explained why China could soon lead the global AI race

Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, said China’s massive market, deep research talent, and fast AI adoption across daily life give it a unique advantage over the United States. He noted that around half of the world’s AI researchers are based in China, where innovation moves quickly through real-world applications like online shopping, robotics, and self-driving technology.

Huang cautioned that restricting technology exports to China could slow overall global AI progress, as China’s scale helps drive competition and breakthroughs. His comments sparked global debate on whether the world’s largest AI chipmaker believes America can still stay ahead.

As if that's a bad thing - funniest thing I've read all day.

I worry that sometimes we get distracted by new technology and forget about the age-old dangers.

Forget about AI brushing your teeth for a minute and let's just remember that at any moment, a 12 year old hacker from Korea can wipe out our electric grid.

Back to basics. Now, maybe AI can help us with that
U.S. President Donald Trump said in an interview aired on Sunday that Nvidia's most advanced Blackwell chips should be reserved exclusively for American customers.
Jesus Christ, Don, for once in your life please for the love of God, listen to your advisors and take advice from others!
He has no idea what he is talking about, but he has an opinion and it simply must be implemented no matter what the real experts think. Typical Trump.
