I have a datasheet that worked until recently and I've made no changes... (I don't think). If I select a column to sort or filter, it turns black. If I click anywhere I get strange looking fields. I've decompiled, rebooted, etc. It's doing the same thing on the client's computer. I've tried searching but can't find anything that fits the problem. Any suggestions?

I've read a few posts recently that may be connected. Type "query design bug" and see the top tow or three results.

EXACTLY! this form is also a subform with a stored query. My client is using 365. I'm using Office 2019. Both Windows 11. Same problem on both.

I don't remember where I read it (I frequent several forums) and I don't remember the detail, but it did say that MS was aware of the problem and was working to correct it. It also gave some details about a workaround for the time being. Post back if you need more help in finding the details.

As the above article states, the fix will be in the next 365 update on Patch Tuesday (14 March)

My thanks to MajP, GPGeorge and Colin for helping me out with "Chapter and Verse" on the problem.
