First let me say that I had worked out a series of queries that
used crosstab queries to get totals....but the end result would
not let me build a report ...no field names showed in the report
wizard.
I have to run 5 queries. inhouse, consultant, indirect, gov, and
no expense. they all contain the same fields but different criteria.
now my query does not total but in a report I can use group and
sum to get my totals.....but i can only show a report on one
query...meaning as of now I have to have 5 reports, and even at
that I can not make different reports so I can sort the information
by different fields because when I try new sorts it wont sum or total right.
Question: How do I get those 5 queries to run right in a new
Query or is there a way to build a report on 5 queries and
then sort information in the report on total fields?.
The way my report works now is ...it is group by sec and
then sum by Id number and then sorted by last name....
this will remain one of my reports but would like after getting
totals to be able to change sort to total hours ....and then
also sort by total cost.
