I have a access 2003 database based on SQL tables through an ODBC link.
One of the tables doesn't allow me to edit or delete once a record has been created, either in a form or straight in the table.

I get he Write conflicy message " This record has been changed by another user since you started editing etc etc"

It only happens with this table.
It is not shared by any other users.
The table has an key and an identifier specification for an autonumber.
I can delete or update the records using an update / delete query.

I am puzzled why it gives me this write conflict message.
I have rebooted the pc, relinke dthe tables and even created a brand new table in SQL. but to no avail.
Somehow somewhere it seems that another record set is open preventing me from editing/deleting from this specific table.

i do use the table in some vba modules opening/closing the record set through SQL statements, but to the best of my knowlegde they are closed after each process.

Where do I start looking

Can anybody give me some ideas where to start looking?
