Write Conflict

Whilst displaying a form, I have constructed another, smaller popup type form that will allow me to manipulate the same query. However, I keep getting a box entitled "write conflict" and gives me the option to "Save changes" , "drop changes " or "copy to clipboard" - is there any way that I can get rid of this message and automatically update the changes?
