Hi guys!
I've made a database with a linked table, which makes a connection to a SQL-server. The database is located on the office network and has to be used by multiple users. Problem is that the linked table only works on the computer of the user that set up the linked table in Access. Reason is probably that the unique computer ID is coded into this connection, via WSID (Workstation ID).
In the table properties I tried to remove this but Access doesn't seem to react. After deleting the WSID phrase, closing the properties window and re-opening it the WSID is back again.
Is there a way to remove this WSID or to make the linked table accessable for all users?
Thanks!
