XP Access Developers

Alrighty...Well here it is....
Size restriction??? My boss knows about the current 2 gig limitation.. and that access slows down alot... after 1 gig... So where are we at in terms of efficiency... and capacity? Does anyone know. Any replies that are solid and come from reliable sources such as your own experiences, not what has been read would be appreciated....

Oh... How about space. How would an Access database that was 1 gig in 2000... what would it's size be in XP:2002...????

I was not aware of the 2 gig limitation. I have a couple of Access 97 runtime applications (the back ends) that are 40 and 60 gigs each. They are compacted on a monthly basis. They run smoothly with no noticeable "slowness" compared to smaller applications.
