I have not seen any of Pat's postings lately. Have any of you seen Pat's postings? It would be nice if Pat makes an apperance.

Her profile says that she hasn't been around since november.

I think in order to keep an MVP (is that the correct term) her contrinutions may be required on more microsoft controlled sites. Which is fair enough I guess. Not that that needs be the reason.

It has been almost five full months since Pat has been active here.

She is such a great resource to the forum. I'd hate to think that she's gone for good.

Hopefully she's alright.

Wayne

Pat Hartman is live and well in other ACCESS forums. I saw her postings.
Glad to note that Pat is doing well.

It would be nice to at least hear from her in this thread. She was made a mod here, strange she would just disappear. Maybe the spam scared her off.

Perhaps she got tired of all the unnecessary infighting that seems to have cleared a large part of our once active community from this board. I'm obviously not alone in voting with my feet. Still, regards to all.

Also, what happen to Kraj?
Has he gone?

Alive and well

I am alive and well and I miss you guys. I tried contacting Jon on a number of occassions last fall when I first lost access to my administrators account but never got a response so I voted with my feet. There are lots of other forums where the administrators actually administrate. If any of you can raise him and get him to fix my account, I'd be happy to return.

I've been working on site at a client's office all year. It makes it a lot tougher to pop in here except in the evenings though but at least I'm not travelling to Birmingham every week.

We had an unfortunate insident at our house two weeks ago. While playing in the guest room my grandchildren managed to bunch up the electric blanket and also turn it on. It caught fire after being on for around 10 hours. We were all out at a birthday party but luckily the bedroom window was open and two young men passing by saw smoke coming from the bedroom window. The fire actually only burnt the mattress but it burned very hot and melted the TV, the curtains and all the stuffed animals - the mink teddy bear survived though. Unfortunately there was a lot of smoke damage including my office and three PCs. Due to the smoke damage we can't live in the house so we're camped out at the local Marriott Residence Inn for a couple of months.

The first week was the worst. All of our clothing had to be sent to the special cleaners to get out the smoke odor and all we had to wear was what was in the washer and dryer that day. Good thing I put in a wash before we left for the party or we'd have had nothing:) I'm looking on the bright side though. I never liked our front door (the firemen had to break it down to get into the house) but I could never justify replacing it and all the oriental carpets needed cleaning anyway so now I don't have to pay for it.

The reason it took so long for me to see Bob's email is that I had a meltdown on my laptop and had to format C: and reload everything and with everything else that's going on, I just got around to getting mail set up.

Pat! It's great to hear from you again, as I'm sure many will echo my sentiments. I hope Jon will respond, although it appears that he has pretty much ignored a lot of the forum, if not abandoned it essentially. Not totally sure what is up with him and SJ also has mentioned that it is virtually impossible to get ahold of him.

We definitely have managed to struggle on, even in your absence, but your knowledge and "teaching" ways have definitely been missed. I've tried to pull together as much knowledge that I gained from you, and others, to try to help cover things, as have many, many others here. So, I just want to say thank you for all that you have done for us here. It has been very appreciated! :)

Great to see you back Pat! Sorry about the fire. That's real crummy. Looking foreward to your posts again.

Welcome back!
I am glad to hear that you are doing well, despite that unfortunate event. I hope that everything will turn out good for you in the future.

Pat, I had an attempt at merging the two accounts you had and it would seem to have came out with your main account winning over the other. I've no idea if this will lock you out however. And Jon, for some reason, has given me so many admin rights, but not the one that allows me to update forum information and counters, which is a real inconvenience.

Good to see you back though.

Good to hear that you are Ok Pat, I wish you and your family all the best for the future.

Brian

Like many oters on this Forum. very sorry to hear about your misfortune but good to see you back.

I enjoy reading your posts both for the technical and experience content as well as the odd turn of phrase when you wish to return a sinner to the straight and narrow
