unable to create an mde file (1 Viewer)

I am running access 2000 9.0.2720. I wanted to create an MDE file but every time I attempt I get the message 'unable to create an MDE file'. Any advice?

Have you correct all compilation errors. An mde cannot be created with compilation errors.

In the Modile pane of the database window, do a ctl+G, then "DeBug|Compil All". The compile will stop at the first error it encounters. Repeat the latter until all errors are corrected, or at lease compile without errors.
