Auto center

Why is it that auto center doesn't auto centre? Yes it centres horizontally - but not vertically. Does anyone know how to actually center horizontally and vertically i.e centre!? (I have used both spellings in order to appeal to a larger audience!)

Actually AFAIK I believe it does! If it is not to your liking then you can use MoveSize in the Load event to place the form where ever you like.

Yeah - I thought it did but I can assure you at least two of my forms are not centering vertically (see attachment - I have blanked the forms due to sensitive info!). It may well be that I have done something that may have affected things but I can't think what that could be.

Any suggestions?

As I mentioned earlier, have you tried using MoveSize?

No I haven't tried the MoveSize method yet. Firstly, since Autocenter should work I would much rather it do the calculations for me! Secondly, most of my other forms do centre automatically so there is a reason why one or two of them don't - that is what I am looking for suggestions for.

I don't get why they aren't centering vertically - I just thought this minute it was because I had the subforms set to autocenter, so I have just set them to no but still it doesn't work. My guess is that it may have something to do with their being subforms present but i don't know why that should be.

If all else fails I will try your suggestion RG, thanks...
