Combo Box, fixed/from table? (1 Viewer)

I'm an Access newbie, not sure what I'm doing and would appreciate any (simple) help.

I've got a combo box, which I want to keep the value read from a table. It shows the status of records, so each record you go to,the status is shown in a combo box i.e active, inactive etc. I want to be able to change this value as necessary by selecting an option gained from the combo. So does this mean it should be fixed to select from a few new options, or come straight from the query.

Do you know what I mean???Help!

From what I understand, you should set the Control source to the field in your table, set the Row source type as value list (this will enable you to specify the options you require) and in the row source specify the options you require seperated by a semi colon eg "Available; Unobtainable; No Interest" this should have the desired result.
