Copy & Paste text field to multiple records (1 Viewer)

Good Morning,

I have been unable to find a simple way to copy a text entry from a Table Field and paste it to multiple records in Datasheet view.
The Toolbar 'Paste' procedure copies to the selected record only and I am unaware of how to select multiple records, as per a spreadsheet procedure.

It seems such a simple requirement. I can't believe the facility is not available.

Any suggestions would be extremely welcome.

You can paste complete records, or complete columns into a table, but its not recommended practice to edit information directly in tables hence the restrictions on what you can do in datasheet view.

If you regularly need to update multiple records with a piece of text the best route would be a simple update query.

Silly me. I have done it previously and just forgot the solution.
