error in subupload file (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

Thanks for looking at my question!

I've had this error beofre but can't for the life of me remember how I fixed it or even find where I worked out how to fix it.

The problem is occuring for a new client who has Windows 7. When he opens the database (frontend .accdr that connects to the backend .mdb) he gets a message 'error in subupload file'

Any ideas?

I just had a memory flashback, I think it may be the service pack version of the access 2007 runtime!

Has anyone had any experience with this?

very difficult i expect. I am having problems trying to get a A2003 mde running on A2007 on XP machines, and Windows 7 machines.

it fails here and there - apparently in a date function - but its so hard to fix - I think its a reference issue, but I am struggling to resolve it automatically. If I rebuild the mde/accde on site from the mdb, there is no problem - but it defeats the object!
