Excel spreadsheet on a tab in a form (1 Viewer)

I would like to add a spreadsheet to my form on a tab just like on the asset tracking data base template in access 2010. Cant seem to figure it out, I can add an unbound object frame but then I can not edit it on the form??
:bangheadound the keys or pound the wall.....help!!

That isn't a spreadsheet - it is a subform set to datasheet view.

Right, found out how to do it. Problem now is my data on the sub form remains when I add a new record on the main form.

Have you linked the subform to the master form?

I cant post a link to the office site (as I haven't got enough posts) but there is a detailed guide on adding a subform there
