First and last record on a page- How to display in page footer (1 Viewer)

At one time I knew how to do this, but now I can't remember...

I have a report that has 4 columns on it (roughly 200 data items). I want to print the first data item (in row 1, column 1) and the last data item (row 50, column 4) in the page footer.

Like I said, I used to do this, but just can't figure it out.

That doesn't look like what I used to do, but I tried it and it works, so thats all that matters.
