I have been asked to show a succint "graph" showing upcoming events that havent reached their minimum viable delegate numbers or show those that have reached their max delegate numbers.

There is also a minimum fees taken amount which has to be surpassed.

Anyone got a nice way to show that.

I dont need teh techinal details of how to do it at the moment - just a neat way of representing it.

or a pie chart - one per event

another possible option is conditional formatting (2010 onwards, not sure about 2007) - select the 'compare to other records' option for comparing records on kpi's

Thanks both - dont both of those show how each part of my comparison would make up a whole

Say min = 25, max = 100 Booked = 90?
Or min = 25 max = 100 , booked = 9

What would each part of a stacked bar or pie chart represent in teh above figures?

Cheers. At the moment I have a grouped bar - but its quite bulky as 3 bars for each event.

for a pie or stacked bar I would suggest you need to adjust the figures to display neatly

for min = 25, max = 100 Booked = 90

'colour' min 25, booked 90-25 max 100-90

for min = 25 max = 100 , booked = 9

'colour' min 25-9, booked 9 max 100-25

so top of each colour represents the relevant quantity - equivalent of overlaying. Haven't check access graphs but I think this is an option anyway.

if done as percentages then all bars/pies would be the same size (I usually set the diameter of a pie based on the max figure to provide an idea of scale)

THanks I get it. I'll give it a go.
