Dear all,

I am a newbie in Access. I have managed to create a database where we keep track of everyone that have access to the building where i work.
I have done a report to show the name, office number and phone number.

Not everyone has a number and i dont want to show them on the report. How can i hide on the report the entries with no phone number?

Thanks in advance

Do not select them in the first place?
Set the correct criteria for the report source, which would be a query.

Hi Gasman

Yes, the source is a query, that is the source as well for a form. Shold i create a new query only with name, office and phone number? if yes, how can i make it not to show the names with no phone number?

Use that initial query as your base and criteria WHERE PhoneNumber IS NOT NULL
If the PhoneNumber field could be zero length strings then also add AND PhoneNumber <> ""

Thank you for the tip. I finally found another way to do it
OK, then please explain that way.
