Hi,

I have a multi user access database hosted on Sharepoint.

I've noticed recently when I am saving the file locally to make an amendment to the front end form, once I make the amendment and save and re-open, I am getting an error message stating 'Microsoft Access has stopped working' instantly when opening it. The original file does however open. The change is simply to add an extra button in the form.

Any ideas why this could be happening?

Any help appreciated

I am assuming your application as a whole has been published to SP? If so, I have no experience with that.

I use SP as a BE server only - which comes with it's own set of challenges...

Shooting from the hip, my first guess would be that any changes to object such as forms and reports would have to be re-published, but again, that is only a SWAG.

Best of luck on this!

Thanks for the response. I didn't explain the setup very well, I don't have it published to Sharepoint or anything like that, I also just use Sharepoint just as a BE server only with the front end file just sat on Sharepoint to be accessed by the team.

Managed to pin point the problem, was part of the onload code causing it to crash. All sorted now. Thanks
