Hi folks,

My knowledge of Access is very limited, so I apologize in advance if this is a noobish question.

I would like to build a report that, when it is opened, prompts a user to enter tha dates he wishes to view before running.

i.e. -

User wants to print a report of all records created in the last 30 days.

He clicks on the report, a box pops up and asks him to enter the date range.

He enters 10/1/2003 - 11/1/2003 and presses enter.

The report then runs and returns records created between those dates.


That possible?

Create a query selecting the fields you want in your report. In the criteria field of the date column put...
between [Start Date] and [End Date]
get the wizard to create the report based on your query.
