I am set to deploy my MS Access XP application using the Microsoft XP Packaging Wizard. I have read through the instructions in the Microsoft Office XP Developers Guide and have successfully developed a 'package' provided I continue to use the default Installation Application Location. However, I want to have my application files installed to a different Installation location option. I realize that application will, by default, be installed to C:\Program Files... I want it to be installed to a
special folder: eg.
C:\FolderName\SubFolderName\*.*
This will be confusing to my potential customers when the Setup GUI shows the default install path of C:\Program Files\...
I do not want to send further correspondence on how they have to manually change the default setup location. How can I do this. I have tried to alter the $(AppPath) etc., but have not made any progress. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
