I use combination keys 'Ctrl and 2' saved as autokeys macro to open a form in Access 2000, or I did until yesterday, when it suddenly stopped working. I've always pressed the left hand Ctrl key, because of key proximity but strange thing is it only works with Ctrl key on right side of keyboard now. Left Ctrl key still works with other key combinations, like 'Ctrl and 1' or 'Ctrl and 3' so I don't think it is the key itself. Have tried combination of 'Ctrl and shift and 2' to see what happens and that only works on right side keys as well. Not a major problem but a mystery to me. Can anyone shed some light please

Thanks to Shadow for prompt & helpful reply.
However before I could apply the solution, other keys became erratic. When

spacebar was pressed text flickered & jumped about and drop down boxes

impossible to use.
Should have mentioned that I was using wireless keyboard, shouldn't I?
That was it.
In spite of thorough interrogation of all properties of said keyboard, no indication

of faulty ware. Signal, battery level excellent. And it worked perfectly for past two

months so old age hardly a problem
But having reinstated regular long trailing wired keyboard everything works a

treat.
All autokey macro reponding just as they should.
My thanks to all for support and hope this might be of some use to others in

similiar predicament.

You're welcome. Sure sounds like a keyboard problem!
