Hi Everyone

I've made a splash builder and thought I'd share it here. But before I do, I wanted maybe some opinions.

I plan to distribute it when I've made it even better and need to control the distribution so have made it licenced. It's easy to validate and works across the net so minimal fuss.

My thought is though I didn't want to give it to just anyone as there are lots of one off users here looking for a quick fix so only wanted to provide it freely to more established users. Is that wrong or unfair of me to do that?

It will be up by tomorrow and validation codes are provided by my server. All instructions will be included. I'm just battling a secure vba method as the forms, modules and table need to be imported to your project.

Hi

the splash builder will be posted tomorrow ( Monday ) for everyone to try. After 10 days, only established AWF users can get a validation code for full use.

Features include-

-live visual screen view of splash screen
-full windows spectrum colour selection
-formattable text
-version info table
-full opacity support
-splash screen time delay
-select startup form from within the builder
-live testing from builder
-no access window or access splash screen when program starts. The first thing you see is your personalised screen
-automated licence validation

btw

I'm not advertising here as the is a free utility. I am pleased with what I have
made so just excited about posting it.

Unfortunately, Nigel is no longer active at AWF
He contacted me last year & forwarded me his Splashbuilder app and various other items in case they were any use to me.
Unfortunately, his Splashbuilder app is over 12 MB so too big to upload.
From memory, it was also never finished.

Greetings!

Isladogs is correct, i am no longer active on AWF as i moved away from Access and onto VB.Net in Visual Studio & SQL Server. I do occasionally come back for snoop but as you can see, not that frequently :)

SplashBuilder.
It was finished at the time, (around 2010) and it had some licensing with SageKey. The actual database file is about 4.5mb and the 12MB is the installer is around 9mb. It would need a code overhaul for use as it was written in Access 2010 and with much less experience.. Im sure i have an installer that im happy to share if you like?

Thanks

Hi Nigel
Good to see you back ... if only briefly?

For info, the link in your signature doesn't work
