If the lookups don't change frequently, you can import the values to a local table to populate your RowSources. You just need a way to manually refresh them if the user needs to.
If you need a way to notify people that their lookups need to be updated, you can send a group email if someone updates the lookup table but of course if you have dozens of these, that becomes problematic. See my mini-app below.
