We have been using this Access 2003 Bank Reconciliation database regularly. It was last used yesterday, but to-day we have received this message.

You do not have the necessary permissions to use the <name> object. Have your system administrator or the person who created this object establish the appropriate permissions for you. (Error 3033)

You do not have the necessary permissions to use the <name> object. Have your system administrator or the person who created this object establish the appropriate permissions for you. (Error 3033)

Could I please receive a suggestion on how to correct this problem?

Thank you.

Take a look at the object in question to see what its permissions are. Or did it literally use "<name>" and not give you a real name?

Also, ... do you have an IT shop that defers patching to a convenient time? Because a system update can trigger this kind of behavior, but today is Tuesday. Patch events usually occur on Wednesdays. But if your IT shop captures and then downloads the patch files so that they run at more convenient times, then this could be a deferred patch file doing this to you.
