Question Switchboard doesn't open by default

I have my main switchboard set to open by default, but it doesn't open. How do I fix this?

Which version of Access are you using? If 2007/2010 you need to have set the database location as a trusted location.

Okay, and so you have set the form to be opened by going to

Tools > Startup

and then in the DISPLAY FORM/PAGE setting the form to be the one to open?

I had the same problem as the poster and tried a few different forums Google suggested, none of which helped me. However, as always, your post got me fixed in seconds. Don't know why I didn't just come directly to this forum!

Something odd with the other forums that Google suggested was that although they were different forums (techguys, sqldrill, etc.) the contents of the thread in the forums was identical! Why do forum entries get copied like this?

Users will many times post in one forum and then copy their post and go post in several others because they want to enhance their chances of getting an answer. It can be a bit of a pain for those who answer though because many times the poster will not go back to their other posts and post that they got an answer that worked and what the link it to the answer. So, people will continue trying to answer even though they don't need to. That is annoying.
