Display on Report field that isnt a primary key?

First of all just to say this is quite hard to explain but ill do my best

What i have is a report that gets all of its fields from a table. In this table all of the information comes from their own seperate table. In which they are the primary key... Except one.

The one is the problem, when i open the report instead of showing the field i want, it shows the primary key field its associated with, i dont want it to show the primary key.

I cant just copy the field onto another table and make it the primary key unless i can make it update with the other table.

Have you tried creating a query to hold the relevant data and create the report from the query.

No i havent. I havent used querys, dont know how really

Ive made a quote, but i can get it to use the query as the record source any ideas??

Sorry cant its too large. i want a combo box to show as the row source the information in the query??
