Countries generally(i.e those that practice tenure-based leadership) rarely have exceptional leaders regularly, so the country's performance over time will be dependent on the quality of systems built.

Most leaders are potential movie stars, the role they play might vary. They are always acting various scripts, with behind the scene directors and producers, while the general populace are the viewers.

It was added to Youtube a while back. Youtube was way beyond most of social media apps mostly because the videos are long. Most of social media clips are short and teenagers watch them one after another. If you use TikTok, Tweeter, Instagram, SnapChat or any other social media apps you'll notice each clip is less than 30 seconds. Recently even the singers' new songs has more views on TikTok and Instagram than their long versions on Youtube.

I think it was a waste of effort for Youtube to add shorts. No matter how they try, they can't even get near to TikTok, Tweeter or Instagram.
