I am mystified. Moke says Trump is controlling the current Congress. But when I point out that Trump was NEVER in control of Congress even when he was President. It is a mystery to me how you think that Trump could possibly be controlling the current Congress. For one thing only the Democrat members of Congress vote in lockstep like the mindless automatons they are. Getting Republicans to agree on anything is like herding cats.

I never said he controls the current congress. He does influence what used to be the republican party, for instance with the Bi-Partisan border bill which he takes full credit for.

Trump has also acknowledged political motivations in seeking to block the bill to deny Biden another bipartisan legislative accomplishment.
