Am I afraid of backlash? Not really I generally say what's on my mind. I do try to stay within the forum rules. I've had disagreements with people over topics like California, for instance. But California is fair game, just like any other state or country.
I've spoken out on a number of issues Kash, Bongino, Bondi, Epstein, etc. I think there are plenty of conspiracies on both sides. I just don’t tend to dwell on certain ones because well I’ve got my hands full dealing with the crazies on the left

Yes but largely because the parliamentarian took many of the spending cuts out of the bill. Things like removing illegal aliens and other freeloaders from Medicaid.

There was no significant amount of money in those provisions. Medicaid is generally not available to illegal aliens.

I just heard Speaker Johnson saying the bill will put more in money in the pockets of Americans. When you do that without expanding the economy, you have inflation. Does he not know that?

The Senate decided to ignore the rule the budget reconciliation can't be used to expand the deficit.

The stuff about stealing elections is made up by Fox News. It has been rejected by Republican and Democratic judges. Fox News agreed to pay almost a billion dollars in a libel settlement.

So far, Trump has stolen $23,000 from my company with his illegal taxes. You can check the law yourself to confirm that this is nothing but theft.

I cited the Dems because their use of the fraud is so outrageous. But the Republicans thought it was a good idea and voted for it so they own it too. They just aren't using it the way the Dem's are. I'm sure you've read at least one of my posts that refer to elected Republicans as feckless pieces of dog doo. That's my opinion and I'm standin' by it. In their own way they are far worse than the Dem's. They campaign on Trump's coat tails because Trump's policies appeal to conservatives but they stab the man in the back at every opportunity and they do not deliver on their promises. Trump grows more and more popular simply because he at least attempts to deliver. He, like many politicians, promises things not in his power to deliver but he sure does try to persuade Congress to deliver the things he/they promised but Congress fails as they did with the BBB. It is full of typical crap and the Senate allowed the parliamentarian to delete many of the tax saving sections so the bill isn't going to save the money that Trump and the elected Republicans promised. Now the Republicans are promising to write bills to fulfill the promises that the BBB failed to achieve.

Check your facts. No judge wanted to find out that the Dems stole 2020 - what the hell would they do if that were the case --and therefore, they refused to look at the evidence and rejected the cases on various issues of standing to avoid having to rule that Biden didn't actually win. Trump's lawsuits, when they get heard, succeed more than they fail.

Turns out that the 2020 theft backfired. Trump didn't roll over and die. He dug in and he came back much better prepared to beat the deep state at their own game. And he is kickin' a**.

Trump has made many contradictory promises. Trump declared that Social Security, Defense & Medicare was off limits and was reluctant to cut Medicaid. There was no path to cutting taxes without increasing the deficit.

Trump did promise to reduce inflation but he has consistently pursued inflationary policies.

Trump's approval rating is already at 43%. It usually takes about 12-18 months for inflationary policies to start having a big effect on price levels. Where do you expect things to be then.

As to crime, NYC murder rate so far this year is below pre-COVID levels and at the lowest rate in decades. Sanctuary cities don't seem to be doing badly.

Yesterday’s announcement by the DOJ was not only disappointing, it completely undermined the MAGA movement. I don’t see how MAGA moves forward from this point. Personally, I haven’t given up on traditional conservative values, but it feels like the MAGA movement is dead.

best? That's a matter of opinion probably based on the fact that they are the cheapest. Cheap is good if you're paying the bill and the workers are even adequate.

Eliminating the waste, fraud, and abuse of these programs is more than sufficient savings. Also, unwinding the expansions that allow Medicaid to cover people in the country illegally is also required.

Having worked for multiple defense contractors, I can tell you that the US methods of procurement are downright stupid and result in the $300 hammers and $900 toilet seats.
