Searching for # or other corrupt characters

How can you find corrupt characters in a table? Also, I tried searching for # but it just throws up numbers! How do I search for # itself?

If the record is corrupt – it generally is not searchable. Try Sorting A-Z then Z-A, sometimes the corrupt record appears at the top/bottom.

And are you really getting "corruption" or is it really just unhandled Unicode characters?

Try enclosing the characters in brackets when searching ie
[#]
