This is a government that has run the strongest economy the country has seen in 10 years. Just last week, health service waiting lists again down

the above is a comment from T.B

this statement is so full of rubbish
how long have labour been in power 10 years -so you would expect this wouldn't you ,
Health lists that aren't worth a damn - double counting moving people from the list onto another list - complete B*llocks

anyway your thoughts on this
g

yeah..
B*llocks is a negative - rude- meaning rubbish your talking rubbish doesn't sound as good as your talking b*llocks
however the "dogs b*llocks" is a rude way of saying something is good
that shirt is the "dogs B..." means nice shirt

trust us brits to confuse the issue

g

didnt know b*llocks was a bad word.... thats new
ahh yes...our colonial/empirical differences again. Tell someone you're in desperate need of a fag in London, you'll probably get offered a smoke, but I submit the result would be somewhat different on the streets of San Francisco:eek:

The Dog's B*llocks is a good thing??

its the differences that makes us,
who would want to be the same

we have different phrases for differnt part of the UK
down in the South - there's a phrase Pikies - which means gyspies (kinda - not the romantic romanie type)
and you go up in to the midlands or further up the country - they would have little idea on what the hell you are talking about

Grocockles was another one (might spelt this one wrong) its from the cornish/dorset coast meaning tourist - but not in a nice manner

us brits do some weird sh*t with our own launguage (spot the typos)

Anyway

Tony Blair. A total waste of space and liar to boot

Gordon Brown A total waste of space and a liar to boot

What on earth is this country coming to. I am surprised that the labour party can even contemplate having Brown as a replacement for TB. Okay asa replacement I suppose he is a clone.( Waste of space and liar) but as a leader !!

We'd be better off with Bush.... No the sensible people in this country do not want him.

When are we going to get somebody rise above the ranks and be seen as a leader who is interested in the country.

Ain't seen one yet from any party

Damn me has nobody the b*lls to speak out and rock the boat a bit

L

Len - agree

Its kinda the same situtation as the conservatives had way back , I think there should, be a change after x years, as its seems to be going stale -

as to any real figures standing out - given te south's tendancies to Conservative slightly bias - however when you look at it , we really want some characters

Mo Molem would have been Fab (dead), Paddy Ashdown as a person would have been good - policies a load of rubbish
Ann Widacombe , now that would of have been funny

you could all vote for me-
i'd sort the barstards out .

bring back hanging for
compliance departments
any fuzzie policies - someoen would have to put there name to it , if it didn't work hang em'

that keep em on there toes....

Bankruptcies are on the up, interest rates are on the up, unemployment is on the up, repossessions are on the up, house sales are down though

Maybe it is time the Royal family earned their keep? maybe make one of the heirs Charles or Andrew Prime minister?

I dunno not taking a shot at ya guys but maybe an idea. dont know if it has been suggested or tried before

Think maybe the last monarch to disagree with Parliament lost his head !!

How does Bush pay his keep?

Well the state of the NHS is clear when almost any stats are looked at -

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/6638617.stm

Now I'm sure the at Blair may argue that it was worse before hand, I don't have the figures to say it wasn't - but since the economy has been doing so well the government has had lots of cash available to fix so many of the things that are so obviuosly wrong - and they have failed miserably.

When the economy does take a downturn as in inevitably will - we will be up shit creek without a paddle.

I read a story the other day - that its common place for the Prison Service to spend more on meals for prisoners than for the NHS on its patients. Theres money there, but its spent appallingly. A prisoner in a police station will have 4 times the amount spent on them as opposed to a patient.

Doctors now get paid much more - and work much less - this has not solved the shortage of doctors - because the shortage is actually only an ability to pay for the doctors salary - not the finding of the physical doctor. In effect the labour policy means - because pay has vastly go up - comparively we can less afford doctors than when labour came in. Doctors are also payed so well they can easily afford to retire much ealrier than they did previously.

Easy to see why , despite more money going in the NHS is seemingly crapper than ever.

Hot news

Blair stands down 27th June

A day for celebtration..... Except that we will probably have another bozo in his place

Improvements in this country

Well since WW2 matters have been improving, Over any 10 year period matters have been improving,

Fact is the improvements could and should have been better

Improvements under Blair have been minor overall Any improvements have been overshadowed by the appalling very minimal or zero progress in many areas

L

Well said Paul.

some standard have increased - and yes there have been some improvement - however there are questions that needs resolving - Labour got in on te back of an anti sleeze campaign - and yet they have had as much sleeze as did the conservatives and in some ways more .

mos tof us will be aware the the goverment of the day usually ends up sorting out problems that occured many years before the actually came to power - also the flip side of this any benefits that previous goverments have implemented (typo?) -
given that a Goverment is a large organisation it may take many years for a benefit to show

Being from Kent (kinda heart land for conservatives), I am anti labour almost on prinicple - but do recognise that there have been some very prominate MP's in Labour , these sadly have gone and you are left with some old wind bags who don't know there arse from their nose, currution has seeped in and it might not be T.B fault but as leader you have to take your fair share of the blame - I feel that he is responsible for some of the peerage 's being "Sold" for donations and also involved in the death of the weapons inspector Dr..... (sorry forgot his name) - this reaks of a cover up .. if TB was involved then GB also was

a goveremnt of the "living dead" seems to be a fair statement - the sooner these zobies are gone the better - however who the hell is going to replace them Lib dem's - sorry - empoer Ming just has not got the x factor to do it - good polictian - but the personality of a slug on meths , which leaves Cameron if its Cameron against Brown -- well I knwo who I'd put me money on ...
