Can a 2-Column Report have a 1 column title?

I have a 2-column report, but I want the header (for the Report Title) to be spread across both columns...also the page footer for the page no. and date. Is this possible??? Thank you.

I set up the detail as 2 columns in the page setup, but the title is coming out on the left column only. I do not know how to set up the report or page header to spread across the 2 columns of the detail. Same for the footer.
