Totaling In a Report

I'm having a problem getting a total in a report. I have a "Start Time" and an "End Time" field that I used a date diff formula "=DateDiff("h",[Start time],[End time])" in an unbound text box to calculate the elapsed time. This works fine for the individual time difference.

How do I get a total now?

Just use =Sum(elapsedTime) in your section footer

I've tried that is does not work.

Is it because it an unbound text box

What needs to be done is that value you get each time needs to be stored. With an unbound text box, it's not happening. Use that formula in a query, like this.

HrsElapsed: DateDiff("h", [Start Time], [End Time])

Then, the HrsElapsed field can be used in a Sum function.

Oops, no out-quoting me.
