Hi all,
I am assisting a Dept. in enhancing their DB Application in Access 2002 and am reading through their procedure notes for using the mdb and they are instructed to Compact and Repair the MDB everytime they use it.
I remember my old Access Guru years ago telling me that this is not a task that should be done every day, just on a need to do basis if the MDB becomes sluggish/bloated and that its not recommend to do on a daily basis.
Is there a specific reason for not doing this task on a day to day basis, would doing such a thing actually corrupt the MDB ?
